Volunteer Opportunities

If you can spare time some time in your hectic life, we would be delighted to have you as a volunteer at The Outreach Store. The store provides good quality gently used clothing, primarily to Stonegate community, for a nominal cost.

We give clothing at no cost to individuals sent to us by local social services such as the Stonegate Community Health Centre, Women’s Habitat – a shelter for women facing domestic violence in Mimico, St. James’ Humber Bay Food Bank and Out of the Cold Program at All Saints’ Kingsway Anglican Church. All of these agencies are helping the needy people in Etobicoke- South area.

We need volunteers who want to be involved in serving the community in two main areas:

1. Sales and arranging the clothing in the racks and shelves
2. Store maintenance – cleaning and vacuuming

The store hours are:
Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Closed
