A fun community event for the whole family, with food, games, a bouncy castle, and more! Located at Christ Church St. James, 194 Park Lawn Road.

This event gathers the community together, young and old, to enjoy, relax, pray, laugh, eat, sing, renew old friendships and make new ones. Originally, the Sizzler started as a joint operation during the summer with the Stonegate Community Health Centre when we were located in the Stonegate Plaza. Now, it is an event hosted by Stonegate Ministry and Christ Church St. James that occurs annually on Victoria Day from 4 pm to 6 pm and has grown steadily to over 400 in attendance.

A free BBQ fare is provided.  A live band plays and sings praising God, with whom people can join and sing along.  Entertainment is offered in ways of games, a bouncy castle, and face painting.

The Great Finds store sets up a tent offering their items at sale prices. The Youth Groups of Stonegate Ministry’s partner churches and many local sponsors participate with various fun games, shows, activities, crafts, prizes and informative materials.
