New look, same Ministry - Serving the people of south-east Etobicoke for over 30 years

CCSJ food pantry

Christ Church St. James Anglican Church (CCSJ) is a key member of our supporting churches. They have operated a food bank in their church building for over 30 years, and Stonegate Ministry has been privileged to partner with CCSJ for over 20 years, playing a key role in the Food Pantry. Two of the three Co-Directors of the Food Pantry are Stonegate Ministry staff or Board members, and the Ministry has provided funding for additional fridge and freezer capacity to meet the growing demand.

Toronto is in a Food Crisis… and Here’s How You Can Help

Current social and economic challenges are making it difficult for an increasing number of families to have food security.

FOOD COST ARE SOARING

More than a third of those served by the food bank are children. Families facing a crisis can talk to one of our staff who can often help immediately or direct clients to the appropriate resource.

KIDS ARE AT HIGH RISK

Stonegate Ministry is a key partner, providing volunteers, supervision, food, program resources, and funding for purchases such as refrigerators and freezers.

IT TAKES A TEAM TO MAKE IT WORK

Each donation is valuable and helps serve over 1000 families and individuals in need each month. As demand increases, we appreciate the support from our community partners and faithful sponsors.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED

Food donations are always welcome whether small or from an organized food drive. See what is needed below.
